What is a WS2818 addressable WWA LED strip?
This WS2818 addressable WWA LED strip integrates three-in-one warm white, daylight white, and cool white LEDs. WS2818 is controlled by an external IC. It features three channels (OUTR/OUTG/OUTB) with resumable data transmission.
This addressable WWA LED offers adjustable color temperature from 2700-6500K. A 12V DC supply allows for a circuit of three LEDs, while a 24V DC supply allows for a circuit of six LEDs. When used with a Pixel LED controller or Arduino development board, any circuit of LEDs can be controlled to create various lighting effects.
1. This addressable WA WS2818 LED strip allows you to adjust the brightness and color temperature of the LED strip via RF or a smartphone app. It is suitable for indoor home lighting.
2. LED density: 60 LEDs/m; external IC, using SMD5050 high-brightness LEDs.
3. Supports DC12/24V low-voltage input. DC12V LED strips can be cut every 3 LEDs, with no voltage drop over 5-7 meters; DC24V LED strips can be cut every 6 LEDs, with no voltage drop over 8-10 meters.
4. Programmable LED strips with breakpoint-resume transmission. A single pixel failure will not affect signal transmission unless two adjacent pixels fail simultaneously.

WS2818 LED strip is a pixel LED strip with external ICs, which has a good performance in signal transmission. Due to its dual signal transmission, the WS2818 strip can still work normally if one LED on the strip is damaged or broken.
WS2818 LED strip also has 4 wires like WS2815, and the following figure shows the details.
This is a wiring diagram of the DC12V WS2818 LED strip when using the K-1000C offline controller. The WS2818 LED strip can also be controlled by microcontrollers such as ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc.
