White 72leds Addressable LED Strip 8mm
This white addressable LED strip is our newly launched LED strip with 8mm width and 72leds/m, compared to 60leds/m 10mm width traditional white pixel light. More density and can fit narrow aluminum profiles.
The White 72LEDs Addressable LED Strip, with an 8mm width and designed for DC12V input, stands out for its precise cutting interval of 42mm. Allow each set of 3 LEDs to act as a single pixel. This design enables intricate customization and detailed lighting effects for various applications. Equipped with high-brightness SMD5050 Epistar LEDs, and 50,000 hours, backed by a 5-year warranty. The inclusion of the WS2818 IC adds a reliable backup break-continue function. Uninterrupted lighting even if a segment fails.

How to Control, Connect and Wire WS2818 LED Strip?
WS2818 LED strip is a pixel LED strip with external ICs, which has a good performance in signal transmission. Due to its dual signal transmission, the WS2818 strip can still work normally if one LED on the strip is damaged or broken.
WS2818 LED strip also has 4 wires like WS2815, and the following figure shows the details.
This is a wiring diagram of the DC12V WS2818 LED strip when using the K-1000C offline controller. The WS2818 LED strip can also be controlled by microcontrollers such as ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc.
WS2818 vs. WS2811 LED Strip
- Break-continue function: The WS2818B has this feature. Allow the system to continue operating even if a single pixel fails (unless two consecutive pixels fail). The WS2811 does not have this feature, and a single pixel failure will cause all subsequent LEDs to turn off.
- Refresh rate: The WS2811 has a 4kHz refresh rate. WS2811 provides smoother color transitions and better imaging. The WS2818B has a lower refresh rate of 2kHz.
- Signal protocol: The WS2818B uses a two-wire serial TTL/SPI protocol, supporting dual-signal anti-interference transmission; the WS2811 uses a standard three-wire protocol.
