SM16703 LED Strip
The SM16703 LED strip has similar functionality to the WS2811 LED strip. Other strips with similar functionality include the UCS1903 and TM1813. These ICs are from reputable companies and offer reliable quality.
The Suntechlite 12V SM16703 LED strip is an affordable addressable LED strip controlled by the SM16703, a SOP-8 color-coded external IC. Each IC controls three LEDs (six LEDs when powered by a 24V DC power supply). Each three LEDs can be divided into a pixel.
The SM16703 addressable LED strip can replace traditional lighting fixtures such as neon signs and is widely used in KTVs, buildings, bridges, hotels, and home decoration.

SM16703 VS WS2811 LED Strip
The WS2811 is more suitable for ordinary RGB LED strips in 12V.
SM16703 supports 5V, 12V, and 24V , has a broader voltage tolerance range, and is great for long-distance, compact, and high-voltage applications.
- The WS2811 is better for 12V because of its 20V withstand voltage. The SM16703 supports 5V, 12V, and 24V with a 26V withstand voltage. SM16703 is more suitable for a variety of environments.
