Regular side lit LED strip is 3014 or 335 LED strip, 335 has wide beam angle, but the shortage is that these two SMD sideview LED strip both are dot, if you need backlit lighting side emitting LED strip, now you have an extra choice, the side emitting COB LED strip. CRI90 and 480leds/m compared to 120leds/m or 60leds/m SMD sideview SMD LED strip, quite big advantage.
