Individually Addressable RGBW 12V WS2815 LED Strip Pictures
This individually addressable RGBW WS2815 LED strip has a 10mm thin PCB width. Built-in WS2815 intelligent IC (similar to WS2812), combined with SMD5050 high-quality LED chips. Dynamic dream color effects via the addressable SPI controller.
DC12V version, safe voltage, no flash, lower power consumption, higher brightness, longer lifespan. IP20 rating for signage and channel letter lighting.
How to control and wire a bendable WS2815 LED strip?
WS2815 LED strips can be controlled individually and have breakpoint-resume features. But the WS2815 LED strip is DC12V, so it can keep its brightness and current stable over a longer distance. WS2815 is better for bigger lighting projects.
It’s a 4-wire addressable LED strip, with two wires for power and two wires for data. The picture below shows how the WS2815 RGBW LED strip is connected to an LED controller.

Product Feature
1. Each WS2815 IC controls a 5050 RGBW LED, with each pixel controlling a single LED.
2. Fantastic RGBW colors create a variety of dynamic lighting effects.
3. LED density: 72 LEDs per meter, 360 per roll.
4. Waterproof ratings: IP20, IP65, IP67, and IP68. Indoor and outdoor applications.
5. Cuttable every 1 LED, with a 13.88 mm interval.
6. This bendable WS2815 RGBW LED strip features 72 LEDs/m on a 10mm PCB width.
7. Dual-signal version with signal continuity: If one LED fails, the backup data signal will continue to function; however, if two LEDs fail in a row, the remaining LEDs will not illuminate.
8. Individually addressable: Each built-in WS2815 IC controls a single LED. Each LED is individually programmable and capable of displaying any desired color.
9. Self-adhesive tape on the back: Cuttable every 1 LED. Easily attachable at home or in retail locations. It can be cut into any shape or letter.

WS2815 Dual Data and Break Continue
WS2813 and WS2815 LED strips use double signal line cross transmission. The second spare signal line has a break continue function and can deliver a signal to the next pixel when the first is interrupted. On the LED strip, even if one light bead dies, the others continue to glow. It doesn’t affect results.
WS2815 and WS2813 are dual signal channel transmission. Both WS2815 and WS2813 support resuming from a break point.
SK6812 and WS2812 are single signal channel transmission; when one of the LEDs is broken, all the beads behind it will not work, as the right picture shows.
So, SK6812 and WS2812 LED strips usually use 3-pin connectors, while WS2815 LED strips usually use 4-pin connectors.
