How to connect and control the WS2813?
WS2813 LED strips have four wires for transmitting data—a V+ pin, a GND pin, and two data pins. This means you need four pins to control the strip.
You can operate these strips with any processor speed or type because the data is separate. Hence, the name, addressable RGB LED strips are lengthy, bendable strings of LEDs that can each be customized to a different color.
By adjusting the red, green, and blue (RGB) intensities of each LED, one can create a multitude of color combinations. These strips can be controlled by any processor speed or type. Any microcontroller or microprocessor can be used, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, Propeller, ESP8266, and others.
This WS2813 RGB LED strip has individual LED segments that can be cut. To power this strip, you need a 5V power supply.
