BC-960 3 Channel RGB LED Constant Voltage Power Repeater Overview
The BC-960 is a three-channel constant voltage power repeater built for RGB LED installations. Where a single-channel repeater only handles one colour circuit, the BC-960 amplifies all three RGB channels at once, so an RGB strip keeps its colour balance intact over a long run instead of drifting as voltage drops.
It comes in two ratings to match the size of your project: a 5A per channel version (5A/CH × 3, 15A total, up to 360W at 24V) and an 8A per channel version (8A/CH × 3, 24A total, up to 580W at 24V). Both accept a DC5V-24V input and take a PWM signal straight from an RGB controller.
Adding one more repeater roughly doubles the amount of LED lighting you can control, and units can be cascaded with no theoretical limit. The signal can travel up to 500 metres from the controller to the repeater, which makes the BC-960 practical for large signage, architectural runs and any job where the controller sits far from the load.

3 Channel RGB vs Single Channel: Which Repeater Do You Need?
SuntechLite repeaters split into two groups by channel count, and picking the right one comes down to what you are driving.
| Model | Channels | Input | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| BC‑960 (this model) | 3 (RGB), 5A or 8A per channel | DC5‑24V | RGB strips where all three colours must stay balanced |
| BC‑960‑10A | 1, 10A total | DC5‑24V | Single colour strips and LED wall dimmers |
| BC‑961 | 1, 10A high frequency | DC5‑24V | 5V to 24V strips driven by RGB controllers |
| BC‑981 | 1, 10A high frequency | DC12‑48V | 36V and 48V systems, up to 480W |
Rule of thumb: if you are running RGB and want one repeater to cover all three colours, choose the BC‑960. If you are running single colour or a dimmer‑driven circuit, one of the single‑channel repeaters will do the job.
Installation Notes
Use a DC constant voltage power supply and match it to the total load of your LED strip. Always mount the repeater where it can ventilate properly, keep correct polarity on the power input, and never connect cables with the power switched on. If brightness looks uneven at the far end, shorten the output cable or use a loop connection, and check that the wire gauge suits the current.
