Product Feature

5mm Narrow 2835SMD RGB 120LEDs/m Higher Density 24V RGB WS2811 LED Strips. The 120LEDs/m 5mm WS2811 24V LED strip each 6leds as one pixel addressable, each 50mm cuttable, and each 6 LEDs is a pixel.

These digital RGB LED strips are controlled by WS2811 IC which is external small-size 2835 RGB SMD LEDs, has an aesthetically pleasing strip light appearance. The 5mm WS2811 strip with 120 LEDs per meter, higher brightness and more even light, perfect to be installed at narrow places and easy to be hidden. 

Difference between 5mm width 120leds/m FW1934 LED strip and 5mm width 120leds/m WS2811 LED strip.

5mm 120leds/m 24v 20pixels/m WS2811 LED strip is 28.8w/m and generate much hot which needs a aluminum profile for heat dissipation, if you need longer lifespan, you shall choose 5mm width FW1934 LED strip which is only 14.4w/m and could be used in a narrow place.

How to Wire WS2811 RGB LED Strip?

Below is the wiring diagram of the pixel WS2811 RGB LED strip connected to the offline K-1000C LED controller.

Prepare the required equipment, mainly the WS2811 RGB LED strip, power supply, and controller. Prepared an adjustable voltage power supply, a K-1000C controller, and a roll of DC12V WS2811 RGB LED strip.

Connect the controller to the power supply. Note that the red wire is V+ and the black wire is GND.

Please pay attention to the direction of data transmission before connection to avoid reverse signal connection. (If the data transmission of the WS2811 LED strip is reversed, it will cause damage to the ICs and LED beads.) The BLACK ARROWS on the LED strip tell the signal transmitting direction. If connected oppositely, the strip will not work.
