User Misunderstanding
1. Is the higher the color temperature, the brighter it is?
Color temperature determines the color (warm or cold) of the light, while lumens determine the actual brightness of the light.
A high color temperature may appear “brighter” visually, but there is no direct physical correlation between the two. For example, a 1000-lumen 3000K warm light is actually brighter than a 500-lumen 6500K cool light.
2. Should I use 2700K or 3000K in the bedroom?
2700K is more suitable for a purely relaxing sleeping environment, while 3000K is more balanced between functionality and atmosphere. If you can’t choose, adjustable color temperature lamps are the best solution, taking into account different needs.
3. How to choose the best color temperature for restaurants?
If you have high requirements for food presentation, you can choose high color rendering lamps (Ra≥90) with 3000K-4000K color temperature. This can accurately restore the color of food. For example, steak and red wine are more textured under warm light, while salads and seafood are suitable for neutral light.
