WS2815 IC Technical Features

  •  The control circuit and RGB chip are integrated into a single 5050 component, forming an externally controlled pixel.
  • 12VDC power supply effectively reduces the pixel LED operating current, reduces PCB voltage drop, improves light mixing consistency, and facilitates long-distance transmission.
  •  Built-in signal shaping circuitry achieves signal waveform shaping without distortion.
  •  Each pixel has 256 grayscale levels, enabling a full-color display of “256*256*256 = 16777216” with a refresh rate of up to 2kHz.
  • Serial cascade interface, requiring only a single signal line for data reception and decoding.
  • Dual-line version, enabling signal resumability.
  • Transmission distance between any two points exceeds 5 meters without any additional circuitry.
  •  At a refresh rate of 30fps, the cascade connection must be at least 1024 pixels.
  • Data transmission speeds up to 800Kbps.  Good color consistency and reliability, high cost performance
