This individual addressable LED strip RGB DC24v is ideal for long distance illumination can ensuring 15 meters with no voltage drop, saving labor cost and money. Normal WS2815 LED strip in the market is DC12V and at most 5 meters, there will be a voltage drop, so we launch this new product.
This LED strip with IC WS2815 intelligent control LED light source integrates the control circuit and RGB chip into the SMD3535 component package,
WS2815 adopts dual data interface communication, WS2815 addressable LED strip light has 4 pins: V+ pin (+24V), GND pin (GND), and data pin (DO and BO), V+ and GND pins are connected to the LED power supply to power the LED strip, and the data pin is connected to the LED controller.
WS2815 has a refresh rate of 2000 Hz, which can produce excellent display effects without flickering in high-definition cameras.

Furthermore, the WS2815 4-pin dual-signal 24V individually addressable LED strip maintains excellent performance even with all RGB channels enabled. When powered by a 24V DC power supply at one end, color shift is minimized across the entire 15-meter strip.
The recommended options are the SP648E LED controller + LRS-150-24V power supply + 4 pin RGB LED connector.

How to Wire and Code WS2815 LED Strips on ESP32?
The RGB WS2815 LED strip is compatible with a variety of microcontrollers, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and ESP8266. The following diagram shows how to connect a WS2815 digital LED strip to ESP32 microcontroller to control dynamic LED lighting displays. - 1. The current of the control board must be<500mA;
- 2. The current of the light strip is too large. Please use an external power supply to power the LED strip.
- 3. The DC3.3/5V interface is the voltage output port of the control board, which cannot be connected to the power supply. The DC interface is used for connecting the power supply.
- 4. The power supply range of the control board is DC3.3-9V, so the control board is powered by DC5V alone;
- 5. The wiring of RGB is the same as that of RGBW, but the programs cannot be shared.
- 6. The more points, the lower the refresh rate;
- 7. Note that the GPIO of ESP32 is 3.3V logic level, so the GPIO pin needs to be converted to a level before connecting to the light strip signal pin (74HCT125 or MOSFET level conversion).
